Dr Kiani, founder of Silicon Hall Lab, works as an Assistant Professor in the department of Automotive, Mechanical and manufacturing Engineering (AMME) at Ontario Tech University. His research areas include Laser micro/nano fabrication and laser materials processing for nano-photonics, energy storage system and biomedical devices fabrication.
Mr. Beigi is currently pursuing his grad studies at Ontario Tech University in the field of natural bone grafting material fabrication. Before joining Silicon Hall Inc., he had been working as a senior researcher at the International Royan Institute for Biotechnology in the field of biomaterials, medical implants, regenerative medicine and tissue engineering. He had published several research articles in high-ranked journals like Scientific reports by nature, Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine, Micro & Nano Letters, Cleaner Production and J Biomed Mater Res Part A.
Dr. Nasr-Esfahani received his PhD from the University of Cambridge, UK, in 1991; he is currently an academic member of the Royan Institute for biotechnology in Tehran, Iran.
He has been working as laboratory director of the Isfahan Fertility and Infertility Centre since 1992 and is the head of Royan Institute for biotechnology–Isfahan Campus. Hi main research areas are cloning, stem cells and biotechnology. He has over 500 publications in international and national journals. The project of the first Iranian cloned sheep was carried out under his supervision.
